While He was going, the crowds were nearly crushing Him. A woman suffering from bleeding for 12 years, who had spent all she had on doctors yet could not be healed by any, approached from behind and touched the tassel of his robe. Instantly her bleeding stopped. Luke 8:42-44
Oh what a glorious day! What a glorious day when He arrived into this woman's life. Suddenly the bleeding stopped.
Imagine what that would have been like! Day after day after day bleeding that would not stop and being made to live separated from family and friends because of her uncleanness. How lonely! How destitute! How poor!
But! In one moment all changed! Jesus had come.
I talk a lot to people who spend all they have on doctors. They have blood tests, X-rays, MRI's, CAT scans and in Victoria they have to pay for things like chemotherapy or radiation therapy. They are cast down, worn thin and our busy society leave them to manage.
But there is One who never sleeps, is ever watchful and willing to help.
I told such man I would pray for him and he said that God had no time for him and would not listen to my prayers. I told him he was wrong, I know my God and He listens to me.
You see I know this Jesus! His love is not fickle, He never fails and I trust Him. Amen!!
