Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37
How easy it is to judge, why it makes us look so good, right? Wrong! It stinks and makes us look like a Pratt! Yet we all do it. I have moments of humility when I have just been through the grinder and I can see truth and know that to judge I will be judged.
However, a few weeks of cruising and out comes the forked tongue, without effort even! Sin comes so naturally!
I did it today and as soon as I did I was convicted and was repenting. I am forgiven but a harvest is coming, right when I have forgotten all about today and probably when I least need it. Ahhh!
What makes it easy to judge is mingling with judges. I live with a few and over dinner one particular soul is lambasted. Tonight I had had enough and defended that soul, pleading grace.
It is handy if you know where the traps are. Then you can avoid them.
I find that when criticism comes into my mind I can, instead pray and that stops the accuser short.
Get insight, and with it wisdom, then you are not dragged around by your enemy. Amen!
