Restoration

"Are You the One who is to come, or should we look for someone else?" Luke 7:19

"And anyone who is not offended because of Me is blessed." Like 7:23

"What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and far more than a prophet. This is the one written about:
'Look, I am sending My messenger ahead of You;
He will prepare Your way before You. " Luke 7:26,27

I have taken snippets of the full story about John and Jesus, however, reading the whole would be beneficial.

John had been put in prison because he confronted Herod about his sin. He, along with many others, expected the Christ to be a warrior. Yet Jesus did not publicly disgrace him but rather gently admonished him and then publicly praised him.

You may have had a mistaken idea about what The Lord was going to do in your world yet Jesus does not judge you or want to disgrace you, He wants to restore you.

Remember Christ is about relationships not condemnation. Turn again and be healed. Amen!
