"Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset over many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has made the right choice and that will not be taken from her." Luke 10:41,42
The One thing that Mary chose was sitting at Jesus' feet. I can say that now this is where I love to be but in years gone past I was a Martha. I loved to entertain. What has changed? Me! I have come to value The Lord and His Kingdom above all else.
Circumstances can be used by The Lord to frame us, chisel us and how we respond determines the outcome.
I am grateful for the past 9 years for I am a better person. God's word has become my lifeblood, my food, my drink. His ways, His thoughts, His standards are lovely to me.
Now I am on the right path and know where it is going, it is good. Amen!
Martha needed to be taken out of her mindset to change. Perhaps when Christ left it would have been that moment.
Mary knew gratitude, she knew what Christ set her free from and what He took her to.
Today remember where you have come from and where you are now is an opportunity to know Him more. Amen!
