The Team

During those days He went out o the mountain to pray and spent all night in prayer to God. When daylight came, He summoned His disciples, and He chose 12 of them- He also named them apostles: Simon and Andrew
his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew; Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot; Judas the son of James and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
Luke 6:12-16

Note, Jesus spent the night in prayer before the Father and then chose His team. He chose a man who betrayed him.

Do you ever second guess your decisions and beat yourself up because of the choices you made? I used to! Not a good practice. It was not enough that my enemy the devil constantly accused me but I helped him out. Not a good move!

God was in control then and He is now He is quite capable of using villains for His good pleasure. He uses all things for His glory.

Remember He is God! He is in control! Leave Him to do what He does best, being God and you do what you need to do; trust and obey!
