"Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Luke 10:25
This question was being asked by a legal man, trying to test Jesus.
Have you ever asked such a question? What was your purpose? To boast? This man was boasting that he was so good he had done all the law required.
Jesus taught this man that the criteria of his neighbour extended even as far as the despised Samaritans.
When we endeavour to boast we are avoiding truth, yet it is truth that sets us free.
Are you satisfied with senseless, base behaviour that does not become a child of God?
Perhaps you do not understand the love of God nor what it drove Him to do on your behalf.
You are not of the world.!The world needs to be able to see your light, is it switched on?
