Praying for 'mine'!

He then told them a parable on the need for them to pray always and not become discouraged: there was a judge in a certain town who didn't fear God or respect man.
And a widow in that town kept coming to him saying, "give me justice against my adversary!"
For a while he was unwilling, but later he said to himself, "even though I don't God or respect man, yet because this widow keeps pestering me, I will give her justice, so she doesn't wear me out by her persistent coming." Luke 18: 1-5

I love this story, it encourages me. I am constantly banging on heavens doors in prayer, for 'mine'. Now 'mine' is all God has for me.

I have found that I have to be aggressive in prayer as lame prayer just don't get heard. I see myself as a warrior princess determined for 'mine'. Now I don't necessarily know what mine looks like but I have a sense of what it entails. It includes victory, authority, abundance, answers, people, lots of people, lovely people.

My prayers are creating the answer and slicing through the darkness. My prayers are the weapons against the darkness and all that would try to rob me of 'mine'.

Often they are souls I am praying for, forging through impenetrable passes, blasting away obstacles; never willing to succumb, always overcoming.

Today I drove to Glen Innes to see two clients. On the way I had calls from two people who wanted to attend DivorceCare. These are 'mine', people who I can lead to truth and set free.

Today I was grateful for the drive, I am tired and needed time to re-group. Yesterday another 'mine' took place. I launched 'The Longest Yarn'. My project to help old people, empowering them by overcoming obstacles in technology and connecting them with the world again.

Tomorrow night is another 'mine'. I am beginning a women's network to connect women in the workforce and empower them with tools in the workforce. This is relationship building, giving of myself, loving my community.

My heart wants more. I want to reach more people, touch them with the love of Christ, set them free to be more than they were.

This is my passion!
