Homosexuality and God

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Romans 1:24,25

The Catholic Church has been in the news lately as they have taken a new pope who has been name Francis.

I had a discussion with a man two days ago who's wife was involved with a Catholic Church here in Brisbane Australia who's priest was pro- gay rights and welcomed gays into his church.

All churches should welcome all brands of sinners but not condone sin.

I explained to this man that I chapter 1 of Romans we are told why there is homosexuality. It is treated as a result if sin not as a sanctified act of marriage.

God loves all sinners including homosexuals but as we come into a relationship with Him we desire what is pure, good and lovely, and funnily enough that does not include homosexuality.

God has used me to bring in the homosexual and I loved them as He loves them but God's love changes us.

Expecting God to allow me to be,
say an adulterer or a thief is ludicrous.to have a relationship with Him I have to walk towards Him and away from my lust.

God is God and His love changes us not leaving us as we were. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
