How Am I Justified?

(for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified, for when the Gentiles who do not have the law, by nature do things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law unto themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) Romans 2:13-15

There are people in the world who, not having heard the gospel, by their conscience do right. So, for us who have heard, we are accountable to the truth we have heard.

If a person, who has not heard the gospel can do right, I can walk in the truth of the gospel.

For 19 years I endeavoured to do right and failed. When I found Christ, I found the way. Joy flooded my heart.

Today I am still grateful. My gratitude enables me to embrace the gospel and not endeavour to change it to suit my sin but allow it to convict me of the need for repentance.

The gospel, if we allow it, will set us free, continually, as we embrace truth. Salvation is the best experience by far. To get started we need a dose of humility, I cannot save myself stuff and am willing to trust Christ that He is the way, the truth and the life. Amen!
