Sons of God
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.
For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God's sons to be revealed. Romans 8: 18,19
We fail to look to Him and to trust Him that the future is good, but it is. He has good plans for us, exciting plans.
Just imagine that all things are programmed to know that there is more, all things, even the plants, the insects, the animals, the fish, ALL things.
Imagine them all looking at us as if through a glass wall saying: "it has been written that they are the ones to restore us all to life". And we go around bumping into things in ignorance.
I am reminded of the Tales of Narnia. The four children: Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy
stumble into Narnia and the Narnians know the prophesy and eagerly await its fulfilment. As soon as the children arrive the Narnians know, the time is now. The children do not see their potential and wander around like children, until they meet Aslan, then they begin to believe.
There is a prophesy about the sons of God, yet we (sons and daughters through Christ's blood) wander around blind to who we are.
We have a calling and all creations awaits the revealing of who we truly are. Arise! Take your place! Amen!
