Love Conquers
Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. The commandments:
Do not commit adultery
Do not murder
Do not steal
Do not covet
And whatever other commandment- all are summed up by this: love your neighbour as yourself.
Love does no wrong to a neighbour. Love, therefore, is the fulfilment of the law. Romans 13:8-10
How can we add to this? Love is the ultimate.
Genuine love, God's love, is the best an purest love, there is no flesh in it, pure spirit.
If we want to know what this love looks like we need to read 1 Cor 13. This is love, unadulterated.
John tells us: 'little children let us not love in word or in tongue but in deed and in truth.'
True love has fruit, it is tasty, it breaks bondages, it brings new life.
Amen!
I live out in farm land country and twice a year farmers harvest. The Lord of the harvest comes looking for fruit and if He finds it, He prunes, if He doesn't He chops. Either way it is painful, one more so than the other. What would you prefer: trim or chop? You choose!
Time to love folks!
