Focus on Christ

Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus The Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6,7

Are you the type of person that buys things and then changes how to operate them? Or are you the person that goes to the doctor for a prescription and then alters how the medication should be taken?

Christ should be the modifier, not us. We take Him wholly as He is and walk in all that He is without modification.

I can not add to salvation any works, or I will boast in myself. I cannot add to grace or I will again glory in myself.

Salvation is the taking of Christ's payment for our sins and then becoming more like Him, as He woo us. Salvation does not need me to add any ingredient of my own or I will fail to appropriate all that is held there for me, and there is an abundance of Him.

Salvation is a walk of gratitude and freedom from the penalty of sin, not a works programme, I am not called to flagellate myself because of sinful flesh but to press into His grace and allow Him to be God.

Allow Him to direct your path and be patient because He knows how to change you. Don't despise His pace, flow with it. Being aware of sinful flesh is focus in the wrong area. Be aware of His goodness, praise Him for all that He is, praise Him for all that you are, in Him! Amen!

Walk in freedom! Amen!
