Allowing the Holy Spirit to Lead
But Elisha questioned him, "wasn't my spirit there when the man got down from the chariot to meet you? Is it a time to accept money and clothes, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, and male and female slaves? Therefore, Naaman's skin disease will cling to you and your descendants forever." So Gehazi went out of his presence diseased- white as snow. 2 Kings 5:26,27
I have experienced having my spirit be somewhere else and witness something The Lord wanted me to know. I cannot will it, it is supernatural. If I, an ordinary follower of Christ has experienced it then it is safe to assume it is available to all believers. We each have the Holy Spirit residing in us. I am shown things so that I will pray.
There are times I will hear someone, or sense someone and a touch will come on my lips and I know to pray for that person.
The Holy Spirit wants us to be spiritual people and we become that as we yield to His control.
There are times like now when I sense fear and know I am going into new territory, I also have a hunger for more, the two go together. Why do I sense fear? Perhaps it is the Holy Spirit's way of showing me I will take ground from my enemy and he(my enemy) is fearful.
There are times when I meet people and I see right inside them and know their hearts. Nothing they say will sell me on a different scenario because I know.
There are times I hear the prayers of others, I sense them in my spirit.
Life is not dull when you are given to The Lord and allow Him to drive. Amen!
