Great Wisdom

God gave Solomon wisdom, very great insight, and understanding as vast as the sand of the seashore. Solomon's wisdom wisdom was greater than all the wisdom of all the people of the East,greater than all the wisdom of Egypt. He was wiser than anyone - wiser than Eathan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Calcol, and Dardas, sons of Mahol. His reputation extended to all the surrounding nations.
Solomon composed 3,000 proverbs, and his songs numbered 1,005. He described trees, from the cedar in Lebanon to the hyssop growing out of the wall. He also taught about animals, birds, reptiles, and fish. People came from everywhere, sent by every king on earth who had heard of his wisdom, to listen to Solomon's wisdom. 1 Kings 4:29-34

God's wisdom is great! He know all there is the know about all the galaxies out there that we don't know exist. When I look at the small intricacies of small bugs and delicate flowers I am amazed at the mind that created them.

When I hear about scientists close to knowing the construct of anti- matter I know they are just discovering more of the glory of our God.

I had the privilege  of following Commander Chris Hadfield on Twitter as he circled earth in the space station. The photos he posted lifted my vision from the menial to the magnificent.

If God filled Solomon with His wisdom what more can He do? He is awesome!

Imagine being around forever and having no beginning or end! Now that is something!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
