Greater is He who is in You

Ahab son of Omri became king over Israel in the 38th year of Judah's king Asa; Ahab reigned over Israel in Samaria 22 years.
Ahab did more to provoke The Lord God of Israel than all the kings of Israel who were before him.
During his reign, Hiel the Bethelite rebuilt Jericho. At the cost of Abiram his firstborn he laid its foundation, and at the cost of Segub his youngest, he set up its gates, according to the word of The Lord He had spoken through Joshua son of Nun, 1 kings 16:29,30, 33,34

Wicked men seemed to prosper but interwoven through all that they plotted and did was the prophesy against them.

1406 BC Joshua son of Nun prophesied about the cost the man who rebuilt Jericho would endure. 869-850 Ahab ruled. So, centuries before Joshua spoke and now his word was made live.

Are you enduring a wicked generation, are you abused for the truth you speak? Rise up and speak the word of The Lord, prophesy into the future, speak His words over your world. Be a part of the answer and don't allow the wickedness to defeat you. Get spirit vision, look through time to a day when God's word will bear fruit.

Israel was steeped in wickedness and evil appeared to rule, but God was using the evil man for His purposes. Trust Him to bring His word in your life to pass. Amen!

Strengthen those limbs that hang down, encourage yourself in The Lord, His word will not fail. Amen!

Don't allow the sickness to seduce you, beat you, deflate you, discourage you. As Ps Phil Pringle says: "God is good; the devil is bad but we win." Amen! and Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
