Trust Him Through the Pain
When he came to Beersheeba that belonged to Judah, he left his servant there, but he went on a days journey into the wilderness. He sat down under a broom tree and prayed that he might die. He said, "I have had enough! Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers." Then he lay down and slept under the broom tree. 1 Kings 19:3-5
Ever felt chased? Condemned? Maligned? Ostracized? Alone?
Everyone that steps out will struggle with this. Ever prayed a prayer like Elijah's? I have.
Fortunately The Lord did not answer Elijah's prayer as requested and likewise ours as requested.
God could see what Elijah could not and all would be well. He just needed to be refreshed in The Lord.
Our God has so much patience with us and does not judge as we expect.
Lift up the limbs that hang down and trust Him to keep you and bring you theoufh amen!
