Singing the Same Song

After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language, which no one could number,standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
Salvation belongs to our God,
Who is seated on the throne, 
And to the Lamb!
All the angels stood around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures, and they fell face down before the throne and worshiped God saying:
"Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen!" Revelation 7:9-12

Here we are! We are a part of the multitude before the throne and along with the angels we sing a song we already sing. We are being prepared.

What a scene! I have been to a Hillsong conference and the joy of being in a large crowd of about 28,000 is so, so good. Imagine being in such a large crowd before the throne.

Now if Ps Reinhard Bonke has a million or two at one of his crusades imagine how many million will be there from the beginning to now. What a crowd, all singing the same song and all being able to hear, and see. And better still we will be joined with all the heavenly host. Wow!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
