The Tribulation
Then one of the elders asked me, "who are these people robed in white, and where did they come from?" I said, " sir, you know." The he told me:
These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His sanctuary.
The One seated on the throne will shelter them: they will no longer hunger; they will no longer thirst; the sun will no longer strike them, nor will any heat.
For the Lamb who is at the centre of the throne will shepherd them; He will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7: 13-17
One of the great concerns in Christendom is 'the Tribulation', will we experience it, have we experienced it or will we escape it.
The same wording used in Rev 3:10: 'I will keep you from the hour of testing' is used here 'these are the ones coming out of the tribulation'. In other words these are they that were kept from the hour of testing.
Many would consider the testing they are enduring right now to be a tribulation and it would be so. However, 'the great tribulation' is something else. Many of us may go to be with The Lord before all these event transpire. The important thing for us is to remain faithful to Him and wash our robes in the blood of the Lamb, in other words believe on Him, live for Him. Amen!
Eternity has no more conflict with evil, no more sickness, no more pain or sorrow. The test will be over and eternity is something else. What do you want it to look like? You may say 'I don't want to be cloistered up in a throne room with a bunch of others just waiting on a supreme being.' The choices are two: run the risk down here with the evil lord or trust The Lord Almighty that eternity with Him will be more than written here, beyond your wildest dreams.
This day choose who you will serve, if you choose yourself then you stay. You do not have the power to control, only God does and you are not Him. He is Lord!
