Blessed Are You When You Believe

In those days Mary set out and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judah where she entered Zechariah's house and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped inside her, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she exclaimed with a loud cry:
"You are the most blessed of women, and your child will be blessed!
How could this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped for joy inside me! She who has believed is blessed because what was spoken to her by The Lord will be fulfilled!" Luke 1:39-45

Have you ever been prophesied over? I have, many times. The important thing here is: 'blessed is she who believed!'

Take a moment and think of what has been spoken over your life. Now start praising God for that word and note the difference. Have you been judging that prophesy by your experience?

Mary received the word of the angel with joy and said, " let it be done to me according to your word!" She did not pull it apart and doubt the possibility, she received it with joy.

Prophesy can take quite a while to come to pass. God met Abraham and told him he would have a son. It took almost 25 years. That is a long time to be praising God for His word but I know praising Him for His word works, it brings the seed of the promise to life and the seed begins to grow. Amen!

Let us begin to release God today and lift our experience up to the standard of His promise. Amen!
