He is Able

When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became furious. He mocked the Jews before his colleagues and the powerful me of Samaria, and said, "What are these pathetic Jews doing? Can they restore it by themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they ever finish it? Can they bring these. Burnt stones back to life from the mounds of rubble? Then Tobiah the Ammonite, who was beside him, said, "Indeed, even if a fox climbed up what they are building, he would break down their stone wall." Nehemiah 4:1-3

We have an enemy and he is the accuser of the brethren. He mocks all we do when we stand up for righteousness, he is a destroyer but he is defeated. I have read the last book in my bible and his eternity is the Lake of Fire. Amen!

There are times when we are crushed down, squeezed out like a cloth and lifeless. In these times all we have is Christ. He is still good, He is still Saviour, He is still Lord. Amen! We are still His! We still have a glorious hope and future.

I must stand for righteousness and carry the banner. I cannot 'curse God and die', as Job's wife counselled him to do when he was in great distress. God came through for him and He will for us. Amen!
