The Great White Throne Judgement

Then I saw a great white throne and One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.
I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.
Then the sea gave up it's dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead; all were judged according to their works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15

There are some who think that the Christian is a part of the 'first resurrection' that mentioned in Chapter 20:5. This therefore means that all the Christians rule and reign with Christ as the second resurrection deal with the judgement at the great white throne.

As a Christian I know that my sins have been washed away and as I walk in faith of that fact I am constantly redeemed. Therefore there is no sin to judge. However for those who reject Christ, all will have to stand before the great white throne and face the truth of what they did with the knowledge of Christ.

I do know that my deeds will go through the fire and any that remain will be rewarded. This is where many Christians will be surprised. Many will say" Lord! lord! We cast out demons in your name and He will say : ' begone from me for I never knew you!"(Matthew 7:22) Ouch! There will be those who Christ rewards according to the scripture: "when I was in prison, you visited me, when I was in need you comforted me" and they will say but when Lord did we see you in prison and visit you and He will say: "what you did to the least of these you did to me!"  (Matthew 25:36)

God only knows what is in the heart of man and it is according to what He sees we will be judged. Did we pretend to honour him but our heart was far from Him? He knows and that fact will be the decider as to where we end up for all eternity.

It is important that we walk circumspectly before our God. We need to face 'us' and know repentance. We need to embrace truth and allow Him to be God. We cannot have a canned version of God. He must be let loose. Amen!
