The Saints Reign with the Messiah

Then I saw thrones, and people seated upon them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the people who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of God's word, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their forehead or hands. They came to life and ruled with the Messiah for 1,000 years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years had completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they but they will be priests of God and the Messiah, and they will reign with Him for 1,000 years. Revelation 20:4-6

The tribulation saints are chosen to be blessed and rule on earth with Him for the Millennium. They are the first to receive resurrection bodies. Imagine how the ungodly they rule view them, spooks, ghosts that never die. I can imagine all sorts of stories would evolve.

Who are they on the thrones, perhaps the 144,000, perhaps the heavenly elders. Whoever they are they will be paranormal and considered as aliens by earth dwellers.

Christ Himself will be an awesome Lord but sinful man will suspect Him of evil intent. Will anyone be born who recognize Him as Lord of all?

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
