Holy Spirit Life

Saul was with the disciples in Damascus for some days. Immediately he began proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues: "He is the Son of God."
After many days had passed, the Jews conspired to kill him, but their plot became known to Saul.......but his disciples took him by night and lowered him in a large basket through an opening in the wall. Acts 9:19b,20; 23-25

The Holy Spirit was in charge. He had an obedient servant in Saul (Paul), a bold and fearless warrior who very quickly had a following, he had disciples.

When we step out with the Spirit He does mighty things. Totally yielded we can do great things. Walking in the Spirit is peaceful yet bold and a lot of fun.

How can we govern our lives as the world does? Why miss out on the adventure of a lifetime? Yes the world can have adventures but they are not filled with a powerful friend, comforter and advocate. As we step out in God He make the music, He fills the air with song. We are on God's great dance floor (song). I happen to like this song, it fills my spirit with joy! How good is our God?

The Holy Spirit loves playing Rummyking with me, true! I feel His joy! He shows me the moves! The Holy Spirit is enjoying the food journey I am on at present, He is there in the kitchen watching as I prepare. I must say my taste buds have never been so alive. Thanks to Michelle Bridges. He is with me as I swim, I love the way I am made, not fast mind you but getting stronger. He is there wih me as I ride my bike and run. He delights in us discovering what we really love about life. He is all about relationship! Get to know Him! Amen!

He is there with me at work, He fills my office with Himself, how good is that? He is taking me to new heights, I know where my new office is. I know that I will have two new employees in the New Year. He is going before me.

Wake up and live! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
