Holy Spirit Partner
There was a man in Caesarea named Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian regiment. He was a devout man and feared God along with his whole household. He did many charitable deeds for the Jewish people and always prayed to God. About three in the afternoon he distinctly saw in a vision an angel of God who came in and said to him, "Cornelius!"
Looking intently at him, he became afraid and said, "What is it Lord?"
He angel said to him, "Your prayers and acts of charity have come up as a memorial offering before God. Now send men to Hoppa and call for Simon , who is also called Peter. He is staying with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. Acts 10:1-5
Cornelius loved God but did not know Jesus. The Holy Spirit had a plan to rectify that. Cornelius was told that Gid saw and heard and was pleased.
It is so easy to assume that what we do is not important, but it is. The smile you choose to give to a stranger can be a source of blessing and a trigger for a heart to turn to God.
Use what you have. If all you have is a smile then use it. Be friendly, don't hold back!
Peter was willing and the Holy Spirit was on a roll. He was taking Peter to people who needed a message. Where are you today? Who is around you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how you can bless and do it! Amen!
