Learn Him and Live Him

In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha, which translates into Dorcas. She was always doing good works and acts of charity. In those days she became sick and died. After washing her, they placed her in a room upstairs. Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples heard that Peter was there and sent two men to him who begged him, "Don't delay in coming with us." So Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they led him to the room upstairs. And all the widows were weeping showing him clothes she had made while with them, then Peter sent them out of the room. He knelt down, prayed, and turning towards the body said, "Tabitha, get up! She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up. He gave her his hand and helped her stand up. Then he called the saints and widows and presented her alive. This became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in The Lord. Acts 9:36-43

I love how Peter did what he knew. He spent three years with Jesus and watch this exact same thing happen once before. Just as Jesus had done, he sent the mourners out of the room and went to prayer to seek the One who he knew was Life Eternal.

Smith Wigglesworth did the same. His struggle was to find men of prayer and faith to stand with him. This would be our struggle.

The Holy Spirit walks in the world of the infinite, there are no limits to Him, no boundaries. All is Yes and Amen there! If we learn to walk in the Spirit surely this will be true for us.

This is what I want. Nothing is impossible to my God! Nothing!

My faith is beginning to change to that of a child, 'daddy can do it stuff!' This is the God I want to know! not the one I see paraded around, a limited, pale God. I want the God of the Fire. Amen!
