Forbidden by the Holy Spirut

Now when they had gone through Phyrgia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come Mysia, as they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.
So passing by Mysia they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, " Come over to Macedonia and help us." Acts 16:6-9

When Paul and his team went down to Philippi in Macedonia he and Silas ended up beaten and in prison. I wonder if at this stage any doubted the call to Macedonia?

Yet in prison, in the dungeons, they chose to praise. Could you do that? Their praise opened the prison doors. Do you find yourself in a prison of some kind? Is it sickness or infirmity? Is it financial difficulty? Is it a restriction if some type?

Praise works! It opens doors yet how easy it is to complain? I know I do at times. Yesterday I found myself extremely tired and struggling with the training day that turned out to be more of what I mostly already knew. Yet why was I here?

There are people here who need what I have. How am I going to give it? By complaining? Hardly! Praise works! How about trying that? Amen!

Lord I ask for the grace to forget myself and see those who need you! Amen!
