Praise Releases

Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were open and everyone's chains were loosed.

And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, was about to kill himself.

But Paul called with a loud voice saying, "do yourself no harm, for we are all here."
Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.
And he brought them out and said, "Sirs what must I do to be saved?"

So they said, "Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ. And you will be saved, you and your household." Acts 16:26-31

Paul and Silas had been beckoned to Philippi in a vision and because they operated in the power of God had offended certain people and this caused them to be beaten and thrown into prison.

Yet the Holy Spirit was still in charge and released them from prison in this dramatic display of power. Why? For the salvation of one man and his family? It appears so.

Are you being beaten either physically or mentally and in prison? Is your release for God's glory so that people might be saved? Are you storming heaven for your miracle? Perhaps you should try praising!

I am preaching to myself here. I have a hearing problem that I have been seeking The Lord for healing for for many years. I want freedom. I have souls around me that I want to see saved. I have employees that I want to see on fire and free from their own prisons. I want to see God move. I want my own earthquake.

I will choose to praise Him! Amen!

Along with praise comes refraining from complaining! Amen! This I must also do.
