When all Seems Upside Down, Speak Life
But they struck a sand bar and ran the ship aground. The bow jammed fast and remained immovable, while the stern began to break up by the pounding of the waves.
The soldiers' plan was to kill the prisoners so that no one could escape, but the centurion kept them from carrying out their plan because he wanted to save Paul, so he ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first and get to land. Acts 27:41-43
Circumstances, outside of Paul's control seemed disastrous but God had a bigger plan and controlled the heart of the centurion, giving Paul favour. Needless to say, all the other prisoners benefited from Paul's presence.
No matter what things seems to be like, all out of control, they were in God's hands.
Are circumstances in your life shouting failure, condemnation, defeat? Start to speak scripture over them, prophesy to them, speak a future and a hope, most importantly go for a walk and worship The Lord for all His goodness. Amen!
