Chosen

The Lord also spoke to Moses: " Look, I have appointed by name Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with God's Spirit, with wisdom, understanding, and ability in every craft to design artistic works in gold, silver and bronze, to cut gemstones for mounting, and to carve wood for work in every craft. I have also selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe if Dan, to be with him. I have placed wisdom within every skilled craftsman in order to make all that I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on top of it, and all the other furnishings of the tent. Exodus 31:1-7

What an honor to be mentioned in the bible as being filled with wisdom for the task God had planned.

Each believer has been filled with promise for a purpose. God has a plan for each if us if we dare believe. However, many are cheated because they live by sight and not by faith.

Christians are given new eyes to see as God sees, we just need to unpack them and use them. Divine sight sees the hearts of man, sees the pain, hidden away, sees the healing, the deliverance, the miracles. Christians new eyes see in the dark, they have night vision but more importantly they can see God.

With eyes to see Him we can see His purpose and walk in it, by faith. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
