Incense

The Lord said to Moses11: 'Take for yourself the finest spices. 121/2 pounds of liquid Myrrh, 61/2 pounds of fragrant cinnamon, 61/2 pounds of fragrant cane, 121/2 pounds of Cassia and use a gallon of olive oil. Prepare from these a holy anointing oil, a scented blend, the work of a perfumer, it will be a holy anointing oil.
With it you are to annoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the table with all the utensils, and the basin with its stand. Concecrate them and they will be especially holy. Whatever touches them will be concecrated. Exodus 30:22-29

How unusual for God to choose to concecrate his tent and all in it with herbs and spices, yet baby Jesus was given a gift of them, at His birth. What does this mean?

The tent and it's contents was cincecrated by things crushed and fragrant. A crushed life can be the most fragrant life, depending on how it is received. A crushed life allows the inner contents to escape, if the contents are fragrant then the smell is glorious, if, however, there is bitterness and self-pity then the stench is vile and repulsive.

God uses crushed fragrant things to concecrate tools of worship, places if worship. Pastor Ruck Warren prefers broken people to be on staff, he likes fragrance, obviously. Broken people are humble, helpful, holy. Amen!
