Faith Wins
Abraham believed in God, who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist. He believed, hoping against hope, so that he became the father of many nations according to what had been spoken: 'So will your descendants be.'
He considered his own body to be already dead ( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah's womb, without weakening in faith. He did not waver in unbelief at God's promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, because he was fully convinced that what God had promised He was also able to perform. Therefore it was credited to him as righteousness. Now ' it was credited to him' was not written for Abraham alone, but also for us. It will be credited to us who believe in Him, who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification. Romans 4:17-25
Our God gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist.
We are made in His image and have His Spirit dwelling within us. We can do this as well. When we speak over our lives we can call forth greatness and miracles come to pass. We can speak blessing and prosperity, life and health, if we step out in faith in who God calls us to be.
God said to Abraham: "I have made you the father of many nations," even before Abraham had any children. God saw what Abraham could not see.
Abraham did not look with focus on his own lack, rather he looked forward to the family God promised him. What are you looking at? You have an enemy who wants you to look at his lies, defy him and look to faith, let it fashion your future.
Imagine you are with the Holy Soirit at the foundation of the earth, looking over a formless, void. Sense His excitement, He loves a void, He needs a void, so He can speak. He needs space. Let Him loose!!!
As God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars, He is promising you something. What do you want of your descendants? See it! Call it out!
Live in faith! Amen!
