Shine Your Light
Now to Him who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ the Messiah, according to the revelation of the mystery of the plan of redemption which was kept in silence and secret for long ages, but now is disclosed and through the prophetic scriptures is made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, (to win them to obedience) to the faith. To the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen! Romans 16:25-27
Once again I am at the end of the mighty Epistle to the Romans. What a book! What truth, What life!
Jesus strengthens us in the faith according to the Gospel. At times I am wrung out, I was there again this week. It seems when you are stretched someone else will jump on your taunt frame with rugby boots on and start bouncing. It never fails to occur but last night I went to my room and said to the Lord: "I will still praise You, I will still worship You, I will not stop. You are the author of life and You will come through for me."
I could hear the father saying to Satan: "See my servant Di Case, she is righteous and honourable among women, she will not fail Me." Because I know the end of Job's story I will not let up, give up or stop! I will continue to praise when everything else stops. Why? Because I know He will have dug deep and own more territory inside, that when the tests and tides come I will not fail.
My life must disclose the mystery hidden for ages, it must tell a story of greatness, of glory, of a great God. My life must sing a beautiful song, a song that heals, liberates, restores, knits together and does not tear apart. This is why I sing!
May my life prophesy to the nations, God is great! God is deliverer! God is absolutely lovely and worth all love and adoration.
Today I went back into the pool for the first time in weeks. I am now walking with two sticks instead of a frame. Next week I will be walking my dogs again, even on my hilly streets. I will arise! Amen!
