Righteousness Plants For the Future
By faith, even Sarah herself, when she was unable to have children, received power to conceive offspring, even though she was past the age, since she considered that the One who had promised was faithful. Therefore from one man-in fact, from one as good as dead- came offspring as numerous as the stars of heaven and as inimitable as the grains of sand by the seashore.
Hebrews 11:11,12
It is fitting that a woman bear witness to the faithfulness of God. Just as Sarah was considered too old to have a baby, I am sure there are many who considered me too old to start a financial planning business. I have had my critics. My motives have been suspect, my ability to perform been doubted and yet here I am. I have fought the battle to exist, to progress and succeed. The promised land is mine, I have claimed the hill country.
Finally I am experiencing breakthrough. I am looking to the Kingdom for my reward as it is to the kingdom I have given and given and given. I am seeing honour, support and friendship coming my way, and this is just the beginning.
Having Issac was the start for Sarah and Abraham, the vehicle to carry the legacy. I have 7 wonderful grandchildren and I pray for their future. I pray I inspire, motivate and bless their future and that they in turn will walk in righteousness. Amen!
I saw a post by Richard Branson that his great grandfather was a preacher. Richard is walking in his grandfather's blessing. My prayer for him is that he discovers the source of blessing. Amen!
Righteous believers lay up a treasure for their progeny and we cannot underestimate the effect righteousness has on future generations. I believe in making good investments in all areas of my life, I want a return. Amen!
