Provision is There

Now He was going around the villages in a circuit, teaching. He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out in pairs and gave them authority over unclean spirits. He instructed them to take nothing for the road except a walking stick, no bread, no travelling bag, no money in their belts. They were to wear sandals, but not put on an extra shirt. Then He said to them, "Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave the place. If any place does not welcome you leave there, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them. So they went out and preached that people should repent. And they were driving out many demons, anointing many sick people with olive oil, and healing them. Mark 6:6-13

When God sends you out for a purpose He provides all you need, He empowers you and gives you authority.

I have set out on many long trips not having an assurance that I would have all the money I needed, I always did. I have learned that my God is well able and every time I expect that the next fortnight will be a stretch, it generally isn't.

I love it when He blesses me with more than I need, but I have come to know not to waste it because there is a need, I just don't know what it is yet. So I stick to the plan and not allow my flesh room to lay out demands for stuff, it sticks to the plan, like glue.

He is the best director I know, the very best. What a good God! Amen!
