Thy Kingdom Come

Then He said to them, "I assure you: there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come in power."ark 9:1

Things are heating up, Jesus is taking His disciples deeper an deeper, on and on to greater revelation of truth about Himself and the Kingdom of God.

Some: Peter, James and John, are taken up the mountain and see Jesus transfigured into the God He really was, this is the beginning of them seeing into the spirit as to the true nature of who Jesus was and what He was all about.
His Kingdom was a Kingdom indeed, a powerful one, one that did not fight as men fought but with power and might beyond mankind.

Jesus's death and subsequent resurrection would unleash a new thing, a Kingdom where God dwelt with His people and was in constant fellowship with them. These same disciples would be used to further that Kingdom and this was their introduction.

Peter, James and John were the 'some' Jesus was referring to.

How exciting, the Spirit world was aligning and being made ready for the new, when man and God lived as one. What a triumph! What a victory! What wonderful news!

Yet, much would happen to attempt to tear these men apart, Jesus' death would appear as if all were lost, if they could only see into the Spirit world at that time, they would have seen the great defeat of Satan, the deliverance of saints of old from Paradise, the march into heaven and the party that was being held there as the saints went home with their Saviour.

Oh Lord give us heavenly eyes! Amen!
