Lord Over All

But in those days, after the tribulation:
The sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not shed its light;
The stars will fall from the sky, 
and the celestial powers will be shaken.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. He will send out the angels and gather His people from the four winds, from the end if the earth to the end of the sky. Mark13:24-27

Jesus is coming back and when He comes all the proud hearts will melt. The Son of God will come in power and glory and there will be no doubt that He is Lord.

The joy of knowing Him without having this proof will endure to all eternity. The love of Jesus is more precious than silver or gold or diamonds. It is pure and does not fail.

His love is the love we all long for. It is faithful and true, honest and earnest. There is no doubt about this love. It never fails.

To go into eternity knowing this love is a great start, a preparation for a new beginning as friends and lovers, face to face. 

Don't be so arrogant that you rob your heart of such love. Don't punish yourself so harshly. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
