My Help Comes From The Lord

Once again He went away and prayed, saying the same thing. And He came again an found them sleeping, because they coul not keep their eyes open. They did not know what to say to Him. Then He came a third time and said to them, "Enough! The time has come. Look, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. "Get up, let's go! See- My betrayer is near." Mark 14:39-42

Although the disciples were no support Jesus found His strength in the Father who sent His angel to minister to Him. (Luke 22:43)

I have found through times of deepest anguish I was alone and knew I could not expect anyone to be my sustainer. I knew that my God was the one I needed to find and when I did I was strengthened.
I still had to go through the trial and they were grievous and many but although it was a hard time I found my God in a far greater capacity than ever before. I was visited by angels and the presence of God was overpowering. There is no trade I would give for the presence of God.

To fall out with people and God because we expect out help to come from humans is wrong and we cause ourselves pain that is unneeded. Our God is our strength and song. Our help comes from The Lord. If it comes from men then they can claim the glory and we fail to find true treasure. There is absolute treasure in our God, how good He is. He is faithful, loving and kind. There is none like Him. Amen! I now have treasure indeed!

He alone is worthy of praise! He alone is good! Worthy is He! The Father kept His word and although Jesus suffered horribly He rose again victorious. I have risen from the grave, my God was faithful, His word proved true! I will sing His song, not one of my own making. I am not the glorious one, I am the redeemed!
