Redeemer

They crucified two criminals with Him, one on His left and one on His right. So the Scripture was fulfilled that says: 'and He was counted among the outlaws. Mark 15:27,28

It is interesting that the very thing James and John wanted, to be positioned on Jesus' left and right when He came into paradise was given to two criminals. There are differing accounts about what transpired between them, Matrhew says they both hurled abuse, Luke says only one did, the other asking to be taken with Him into paradise, John does not mention them, Mark also states they both hurled abuse.

However, it is fitting that this King be placed between those who needed Him the most. Amen!

Jesus did His best work with those who were recognised as sinners. The 'good' folk struggled with the fact that they to were sinners.

Australians don't receive well being told they are sinners and it is only the Holy Spirit who can enable them to come to a knowledge of their need.

May we open our hearts to our need for the love of this glorious man. Amen!
