The Beasts

In the first year of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream with visions in his mind as he was lying on his bed. He wrote down the dream, and here is a summary of his account. Daniel said, "in my vision at night I was watching, and suddenly the four winds of heaven stirred up the great sea. Four huge beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. Daniel 7:1-3

The first beast was like a lion, the second like a bear, the third like a leopard and the fourth was frightening and dreadful. We are not told what the beast was.

However, this dream seems to relate to the dream of Nebucahadbezzar. He saw a man made of four different parts, each representing a future Kingdom.

Daniel was unable to interpret his dream and had to ask what it meant. It greatly troubled him. He was a true visionary yet the impact of his dream troubled him and he was unable to calmly seek The Lord for its interpretation.

I have seen some terrifying things in the spirit, just for a season. I remember being in Houston when Gid showed me a vision that greatly troubled me. He told me to write it down and send it to a man he named.

I struggled with this but peace would not come until I had sent the letter.

This and other visions came in the period of time called the Toronto Outpouring. It was an awesome time. However, another time is upon us and great is this outpouring. I sense it, on the other side of the veil. It is gathering strength, the storm is building.

When God's spirit falls who can resist it?
Daniel saw the ancient is days. What a vision:
'As I kept watching thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of days took His seat.
His clothing was white like snow, and the hair of His head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming fire;
It's wheels were blazing fire.
A river of fire was flowing,
Coming out from His presence.
Thousands upon thousands served Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was convened,
And the books were opened. '(9,10)

Our God is greater than any evil,
His glory higher than any man.
He is God, king of kings, Lord of Lords. Amen!
