Small Things

Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise:
the ants are not a strong people,
yet they store up their food in the summer;
Hyraxes are not a mighty people,
yet they make their homes in the cliffs;
Locusts have no king,
yet all of them march in ranks;
a lizard can be caught in the hand,
yet it lives in kings palaces. Proverbs 30:24-28

We can judge ourselves incompetent, lacking, not clever, poor, ugly, yet all of the above are ignorant to such mindsets, they get on with it and be and do.

Ants work hard and are constantly storing up food for the time of need, they are prepared;
Hyraxes or rock badger live on high rocky mountains in cavities, they know how to live above the drama;
Locusts know how to work together in a crowd, they don't fight for top dog status, they instinctly know how to march as one;
a lizard manages to live in the homes of rulers, as even they have abundant food supply and places to live.

Hard work, creative living, security of personality and humility of purpose. All good attributes.
