Spirit Control

The Spirit of The Lord took control of him, and he went down to Askelon and killed 30 Philisitine men. He stripped them and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle.
In a rage, Samson returned to his father's house, and his wife was given to one of the men who had accompanied him. Judges 14:19,20

Samson had put forth a riddle to the 30 men who had come to accompany him in preparation for his marriage to a young Philistine woman. The men could not solve the riddle and so to get the answer they threatened the bride with being burned to death. She then cried all week until Samson told her the answer, which she divulged to the men.

Angry Samson said:
"If you hadn't plowed with my young cow,
You wouldn't know my riddle now."

What I find interesting is, behaviour that would have been put down to a spoiled brat in a rage was said to have been inspired by the Holy Spirit.

I am sure many have struggled with this story, in the frame of their own understanding and all they know, they would be right, but how do they explain,
'The Spirit of The Lord took control of him?'

As I wait on God to travel to the Philippines I am having to wait for flights to be organised by a person who seems to be a chaotic manager. This is definitely not my style but I am constrained to see what God does. (A new thing for me, especially as I love order)

I am going through a lot of what may appear on the surface, failures, stalls, roadblocks but I sense something else, abundance. No I cannot explain but there it is folks. God is up to something and it has nothing to do with what I see and hear.
