Samson went down to Timnah with his father and mother and came to the vineyards of Timnah. Suddenly a young lion came roaring at him, the Spirit of the Lird took control of him, and he tore it apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he did not tell his father or mother what he had done. Judges 14:5,6
This is the first record of Samson's strength. The Lord was definitely displaying His hand differently this time.
I have read a few commentaries and they speak of Samson's wilfulness and disregard for his Nazerite vow. Yet, I say, what if this is God?
I am convinced my God is different and I like Him that way. Amen!
