I have within me the storehouse of righteousness in the Holy Spirit who lives within. As I live, in Christ, I have access to his life-giving words. I can choose to speak those words and see life come into my world.
Living out of te flesh is living out of wickedness. Wickedness involves taking not giving. Taking is violent and it hurts those it touches.
We see acts of extreme violence in the brutal slayings in Iraq and Syria by the IS proponents, yet if I live in the flesh I inflict violence even on my children and grandchildren. It is easy to do. It is the selfish, lazy thing to do.
I must choose life, daily. Amen!
