False Prophets

But there were also false prophets among the people (of old), just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and will bring swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their unrestrained ways, and the ways of truth will be blasphemed because of them. They will exploit you in their greed with deceptive words. Their condemnation, pronounced long ago, is not idle, and their destruction does not sleep. 2 Peter 2:1-3

I have been a  Christian since I was 19, I am now 60. I have seen and heard much. I remember a time when a woman who was married to a man in ministry was looked down upon because she worked. The church made judgements on things it should have kept out of and hurt many. I felt so guilty because I worked.

A lot of what was said and done was done in ignorance but with a distinct lack of grace.

Where did that leave me? I had a lot to work through but because I loved the Lord, I clung to Him and prayed fervently for His way. I praise God He came through for me.

Through these awkward times the church received a bad rap, and justly so. Now is the time to set the record straight.

I know many who were irrevocably harmed in this period of time. I pray that when the spirit of God is poured out they will be completely set free. Amen!

God has a plan of correcting all ills, in His time, all things are made new. Amen! It is when we run or lash out in our pain we can do further damage and the repair agenda is much deeper. Stay the distance and give ahim your pain, He can use it for glory.
