In The Family

Therefore, with your minds ready for action, be serious and set your hope completely on the grace brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13

Minds ready for action. Wow! is your mind ready for action or has it slipped into lazy ease? A mistaken Christian belief is that life should be easy because we have asked Christ into our lives. What foolishness!

Peter then exhorts us to be serious and set our hope completely on the grace brought to us by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Being called to be serious means there is an element of reflection, contemplation, insight and understanding.

Our God is a God of action, movement, change. We are a people of action, movement and change. Being a Christian I have no option to be lazy and indolent. I am called to act and move.

I am made in my Father's image and He rested one day out of seven but on the other six He worked but oh! what a beautiful work that was.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, calls me family and loves me. My family is a family of action, life and excitement. How good is that? Amen! Let's go!
