Justice For Injustice

Woe to him who amasses what is not his- how much longer- and loads himself up with goods taken in pledge?
Won't your creditors suddenly arise, and those who disturb you wake up? Then you will become spoil for them.
Since you have plundered many nations, all the people who remain will plunder you- because of human villence and bloodshed against lands, cities, and all who live in them. Habakkuk 2:6-8

No matter what flag we fly, if we act unjustly, at any time, injustice will be repaid. The injustice we receive will be at a most inconvenient time, a time when we would prefer peace.

The sins of our forefather pollute the land, the blood of those slaughtered in the name of God or purpose that we deemed right at the time, remains blood on the land and it cries out for justice. There is an ear that hears and He will repay.

I remember visiting Houston Texas in 1998 and was taken through an area by a friend we were visiting. I asked: "What has happened here?" He replied he did not know. I said, " a greater slaughter of lives happened here." I sensed it in the spirit. Now if I, a mere human could sense it, the Lord Almighty has not become blind but He knows.

Again, when I visited Ireland, in 1995, I sensed the blood on the land, blood of lives slaughtered senselessly.

There are many countries where the land is stained. Cambodia, Vietnam, Korea. Recently I read about one such slaughter near where I live in the New England area, Australia.

Some Aboriginal people were senselessly slaughtered at a place called Myall Creek. In the early days of settlement It was the first time the white men were tried and hanged for their barbarous slaughter of the natives. After this time law was changed to allow the white man to not be tried. How can a people group slaughter another just because of the colour of their skin or their religion?

Judgement is in the Lord's hands, He repays injustice with justice. Amen!
