Scoffers and Noffers (I stand for nothing people)

First, be aware of this: scoffers will come in the last days to scoff, living according to their own desires, saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? Ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation." 2 Peter 3:3,4

We will be tempted to think like this, and there will be plenty of folks scoffing at the reality of Christ and His promised return. It depends what we feed on. Do we fill up on worldly knowledge and believe the lie or do we stay in the world of God and practice the truth?

What will you believe? What will you say? Where will you hang out? Where will you fellowship?" The answer to all these will determine your future.

More and more Christmas has become all about Santa, even in Christian homes. While make believe is fun it is not all there is.

If every year, on our birthday, our families went to the horse races and celebrated the life and death of a horse and ignored us, how would we feel?

We are His family and Christmas is about His visit to our world, His sacrifice.

Today we must have a check up from the neck up. What do we believe? Are we fuzzy about our faith? Time to detox, perhaps a fast, heaven forbid.
