The Day of the Lord

But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.

Since all these things will be destroyed in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be n holy conduct and godliness as you wait for and earnestly desire the coming of the day of God. The heavens will be on fire and be dissolved because of it, and he elements will melt wih the heat. But based on His promises, we wait for the new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will dwell. 2 Peter 3:'10-12

We wait with earnest longing for the second coming but right here and now there is a growing hunger for the presence and manifestation of God in our midst. When we see hearings and hear words of prophesy our hearts jump, especially those of us who have seen this before. 

When God manifests His presence a lot of questions cease, we just love to be with Him and everything is all right.

I am so grateful to live in a time when we can watch what God is doing anywhere in the world via the Internet. Because we can see so much I surmise that this is an outpouring of God on the earth. 

Peter said that God delays His coming so that all men might hear the gospel, are they not hearing it now? Or perhaps there is something more for us to do. Perhaps our neighbours need to see Christ in us, hear the sweetness of Christ in us? Perhaps we need to slow down and be witnesses in the workplace?

Let's seek Him for the answer? Amen!
