The Source of a Testimony

I always thank a God for you because of God's grace given to you in Christ Jesus, that by Him you were enriched in everything- in all speech and knowledge. In this way, the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you, so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ, God is faithful; you were called by Him into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our lord. 1 Corinthians 1:4-9

God's grace is what makes us who we are in Christ. I can be strong in faith and cause people to wonder but it is God's grace in my life that makes me so. I have known times when there was not grace to do bold things, then I must hang close to my God and trust Him through the fire.

I have been through much fire and I am sure more will come, as it tests us and shows us what is within. Am I just a loud gong or clanging cymbal or is there life? I am grateful I know where to go in the fire, my God is my shield, I am not my own protector, provider or peace; He is my all!

My trust in my God is what makes me strong, He is the source and supply. Amen!
