Who Am I?

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; you had not received  mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:9,10

This is how God views us. We need to speak of ourselves as if we are what He says we are. There is no room for mealy mouthed confessions of hopelessness, inadequacy, failure, foolishness. This is not who we are.

I am blessed and highly favoured by the Lord! I am blessed in all I do. I am seated with Him in heavenly places. All my enemies are under His feet. So what if I can feel the failure, the inadequacy of my foes, I do not need to own their plight.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I can do, I can do, I can do ALL things through Christ who works in me. I have to believe His word, step out on His word. Amen!
